CompuGirls Scale-Up

CompuGirls is a culturally responsive technology program for adolescent (grades 8-12) girls from under-resourced school districts in the Greater Phoenix and Denver areas. This iteration of the program was an expansion scale-up effort based on an earlier NSF ITEST grant and explored different models of courses, content, and instruction to meet the varied needs of different learning communities. The program has garnered much national attention with implementations in AZ, CO, CA, NJ, and NYC.  In collaboration with Arizona State University and University of Colorado, Denver.
